Netflix’s adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events has been renewed for a second season—despite Mr. Snicket’s own reservations. As a celebratory gesture, Count Olaf himself, Neil Patrick Harris, has acquired his first-ever tattoo, which fans of the series will recognize as the sigil of the Volunteer Fire Department, a secret society which includes Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire.
